Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
Jesus Lord of Time

God will go Before You, walk Beside you, and desires to work Boldly through you.

Yahweh, the God of heaven...who spoke to me...will send his angel before you...He said, “Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, please give me success today...Let it happen, that the young lady to whom I will say, ‘Please let down your pitcher, that I may drink...let her be the one you have appointed for your servant Isaac. By this I will know that you have shown kindness to my master.” Before he had finished speaking, behold, Rebekah came out...He said, “Blessed be Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken his loving kindness...As for me, Yahweh has led me on the way to the house of my master’s relatives.”... Isaac...took Rebekah, and she became his wife. He loved her." Genesis‬ ‭24‬:‭7‬, ‭12‬-‭15‬, ‭27‬, ‭67‬ ‭

God wants to give us confidence that we can move in boldness.  What do we need to do this? Evidence that God has a plan and personal experiences to show us we can trust Him. Look at how Abraham talks about God. He knows and trusts Him so personally. He says God will provide and God does. Where would you like to see God move? Is your request in the will of God and does it give God glory? Do you believe He will do it?

“The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it...He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, righteousness from the God of his salvation...This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face...Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.” Psalms‬ ‭24‬:‭1‬, ‭3‬, ‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭

The devil wants you to look down and be afraid. God wants to lift your eyes and open your heart with expectation that His glory will come. Whose voice will you listen to today?

“doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it?...If you have found it, then there will be a reward: Your hope will not be cut off.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭24‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭

Jesus is God's personal invitation to intimacy. He wants you to know that He knows you. He knows what you are going through and wants to give you hope that the best is yet to come.

“The earth is utterly broken. The earth is torn apart...Its disobedience will be heavy on it, and it will fall and not rise again.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭24‬:‭5‬, ‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭

Unfortunately, the experiences of our lives in a broken world can build more fears than faith. Faith is the process of unlearning our fears so that one day we will be bold like Abraham and know that like his servant God moved ahead of him. Ask Jesus to reveal any fears or anxious thoughts that are troubling your heart.

“he who endures to the end will be saved. This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come...Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away...no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Blessed is that servant whom his Lord finds doing so when he comes.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭12‬-‭14‬, ‭35‬-‭36‬, ‭46‬ ‭

Jesus wants to give you boldness. Boldness to believe that you can make a difference and in your identity as a kingdom servant. There is work to be done and you have a unique way in which you can share the good news to others with the gifts you have been given.

Look up and look out believing that if God did it before, He will do it again. He is already working ahead of you, He wants to empower you to endure each day, and He promises that His salvation purposes will be victorious in the end.
