God Knows
Trust in God and His timing. He is the One who sees all, knows all, gives all and is the only one who can save.
“Pharaoh told them his dreams, but no one could interpret them for him...Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, “Today I am reminded of my shortcomings. Now a young Hebrew was there with us, a servant of the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams, and he interpreted them for us, giving each man the interpretation of his dream...Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.” “I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh, “but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires...God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do. Seven years of great abundance are coming throughout the land of Egypt, but seven years of famine will follow them. Then all the abundance in Egypt will be forgotten, and the famine will ravage the land...let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man and put him in charge of the land of Egypt. Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.”
Genesis 41:1, 8-9, 12, 15-16, 28-30, 33, 39-42, 46, 51-52
God knew. He knew the path for Joseph to become great was through the difficulties he would have to endure and in His timing He moved swiftly. In one day, Joseph went from a prisoner to powerful. Joseph who had been a slave, prisoner, and after thought. In one day, his whole life changed and so can ours.
Whatever you are facing, whatever you are walking through, whatever you are waiting on it is important to stand on the promises of God. He is faithful and has a plan to bless your life if you give Him your heart. Where do you need to trust in God's presence, promise, provision and providential timing?
“Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble...I said, “Have mercy on me, Lord; heal me, for I have sinned against you... have mercy on me, Lord; raise me up"
Psalms 41:1, 4, 10, 13
God knows. God knows what you have done and He knows how to bring peace to your pain. He knows how to heal, how to care for the weak, how to have mercy, and how to make things right with us. How does He do this? Through sending His Son Jesus to be the way, the truth, and the life for us.
“The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but a fool is swallowed by his own lips. A fool also multiplies words. Man doesn’t know what will be; and that which will be after him, who can tell him?”
Ecclesiastes 10:12, 14
God alone knows what will come. He knows how to give grace for each season and how to give wisdom to those who will listen. God speaks and wants to talk with us today so that we can know what He already knows. Have you created space to hear from Him?
“You are my servant. I have chosen you and have not cast you away...Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you...You will rejoice in Yahweh. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel."
Isaiah 41:8-10, 13, 16, 23, 25, 28
God knows what is best for your life. He knows your fears and how to calm them. He knows your weaknesses and how to strengthen them. He knows where you fall short and how to help you. He knows the best thing you can do is learn to draw close to Him so you can learn the eternal value of worshipping God with your life. Have you rejoiced and given thanks to Him for how personally He cares for you?
“The Good News must first be preached to all the nations...Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away...of that day or that hour no one knows—not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don’t know when the time is.”
Mark 13:1-2, 10-11, 16, 26-27, 31-33
God knows all the days of all He created. He knows the day and the hour of your birth and your death. He knows we all need more Good News in our lives to give us peace and hope. He knows it is the Good News that will transform your day from fear to faith if you hear His voice and follow Him.
God knows you have a story that He is still writing through you. It is never too late and you are never too far away from Jesus to become the person who God knows He made you to be.
